After eight gruesome days of biting the cold winter air out on the street, Team Young Diplomats representing Sazolie College won the 6th edition of the Hornbill First Cut Inter-collegiate Entrepreneurship Competition 2019.
Altogether, 11 teams representing different colleges and institutions of Nagaland competed in the business competition organized by YouthNet Nagaland in partnership with Tourism Nagaland and the Department of Higher Education, Government of Nagaland during the Hornbill Night Carnival at Kohima from December 1 – 8, 2019.
Team Young Diplomats, the sole team representing Sazolie College, Kohima, walked away with a cash prize of Rs. 50,000 and the profit amount they made during the competition at the carnival. The YouthNet team once again congratulates the team for their dedication and outstanding performance during the competition.
The team has this to say, “Eight days and nine nights of sweat and labour passed by within a blink, those sleepless nights and tireless days are something we will remember throughout our lives, and those experiences are everything that matters.”
“On behalf of the team, we thank each and everyone for the love and friendship shown towards us. Working together with all the participants and the organizers and meeting everybody was a blessing for each and everyone one of us. For us, we felt like we had already got our reward before the result and that is the experiences we gained which money can never buy and we hope all of us participants feel the same way too. And we wish all the best for each and everyone for a great future ahead. Hope we meet again in days to come!”
