Shall I welcome thee a run away?
Drawn with the burden a take flight?
I, for one won’t be your prisoner today,
Catch me when the moon smile.
Though in shackles, I am not behind bars.
Free to make art as I please and desire
Tell me wrong but know it’s not in the stars.
I’ll fall a thousand times but I’ll stand wiser.
Whosoever I met, poured into the ocean
And made a belief that I shall act duly
But I have a goal that I must set in motion
And I’ll live like how my God has drew me.
You can set your expectations but I am me,
I know what I want and I won’t take a knee.
