A Sedulous Teacher – Therali Z Kikon, BA

Lived in a cluster of unknowns,

Hold a pen to dwell.

You shower me with mastery you own,

Refurbish me with abilities like jewels.

A sedulous teacher you are,

You push me to stages of confidence;

Soothe me in courages when I tense,

Teach me the joys of parting while sharing.

A sedulous teacher you are,

You lighten me with virtues of life;

To scribble my paths and ways,

To dry my wettish eyes on bad days.

As I clench my thoughts in questions,

You smile as you reply,

Shoving off my nervous tensions,

Teaching me goodness in pride.

Paychecks are never in motive,

As you share your knowings of life.

A sedulous teacher you are,

You encourage me when I am in awe.

None can replace your doings,

Avoiding tired eyes with sparks.

Answering doubts in smiles,

You truly inspire me to my goals.
