I bought this book for myself last month From instagram @kitab_puribi I was very excited for it and as soon as I received the book I started reading and believe me Rupi kaur did not disappoint “the sun and her flowers’ truly brings up memories, feelings and image of life.
A perfect leisure read this book has been my favourite read for this month. I have thoroughly enjoyed each poem I was able to connect and immerse myself in every line, I felt my emotions changing along with the new chapters of the book. Raw and pure the book context has five chapters: wilting, falling, rooting, rising and blooming.
The book expresses the most obvious things a person goes through falling into demise, losing oneself and blooming up in self-love and rising above life’s sentiments
Rupi kaur empowers women to Love one’s own body and she talks about things people usually don’t pay attention to or care about Our personal emotions insecurities and feelings.
The illustrations in the book also grabs readers attention it took me directly into the scenes of the poems holding my emotions talking to myself and finding myself again and again nodding my head to how true the book speaks ” the sun and her flowers’
Is a great book to read, beautiful, humble and self loving, I totally recommend this book.
