The Tetso College held yet another powerful DOTtalks discussion on sexual harassment at workplace by Miss Vitsino Iralu (Call Responder) and Miss ChothaluPhesa-O (Senior Call Responder) of Women Helpline ‘181’ on 19th of March, 2019. This discussion was held mainly to create awareness for both men and women about sexual misconduct in workplaces.

With a detailed PowerPoint presentation, they educated the students on how small gestures may result in bigger problems. They emphasised that sexual misconduct does not only confine to physical assaults but rather it encompasses other aspects such as verbal assault, visual assault, emotional assault etc. This results in affecting the victim not only personally but also professionally.

A proper guidance on how to file complains regarding sexual misconduct was also shown. Websites that provide help such as shebox.com and phone number were given so that in case of complaints, we could reach out to them.
