COVID19 has caused a massive change in our daily life. Everything feels new, unbelievable and overwhelming. It has been a long, painful and deadly year for the people across the world especially in the affected areas. Thousands of people have died from this infectious disease. People living in extreme poverty are at the highest risk because their living conditions are precarious and access to healthcare is limited.
As the world struggles with this global pandemic, on the other hand, different regions or countries have started to divide, separate their own corners and abandon the connections and distance from one another. Nothing is normal anymore. People are stuck in their own house and their behaviors have changed. If someone tested positive, they are quarantined, the people they had recent contact with are also isolated as well. Many are also insecure about their jobs and the fear of unemployment among the youth is high.
This instills in everyone the feeling of fear and frustration. However, one should not stop from learning or acquiring new skills since it is necessary to make sure each individual progresses in their own way and show others a sense of hope for the future.
People should actually see this as an opportunity to see things differently, accept the situation that everyone is in right now and get back their life on track. This new change may look very much unreal but instead of living a life with despair, we must adapt to the unexpected and learn to handle and respond to these changes and most importantly, take the step in the right direction.
