Yesterday, when I was walking up to the stage,
All I knew was fear.
Yesterday, when I was on the stage,
All I felt was my legs shaking.
I was speaking,
But my mouth stuttered, so I gave up.
Today, I am walking up to the stage,
All I know is, ‘I will fight my fear’.
Today, I am on the stage,
All I know is, ‘i need to calm myself’.
I am speaking,
Though I stuttered, I made it to the end.
Tomorrow, I will be walking up to the stage,
All I know will be confidence.
Tomorrow, I will be on the stage,
All I feel will be freedom.
I will be speaking,
Though it won’t be perfect,
I will know, I achieve something.
