YOUTH FESTIVAL POWWOW 2019 CONCLUDES

The 2019 POW-WOW youth festival in Tetso College has wrapped up. From the 7th till 9th of March, the festival has seen a collection of 28 colleges all over Nagaland participating in various events ranging from sports to literature to mobile games.

A closing ceremony was held to officially declare winners and bid adieu to the competing colleges. The programme was graced by Kevekha Kevin Zehol, the Dimapur DC who reminded the youths to be aware of the mobile in their hands as it has the means to both destroy and create their life. He wished the students all the best for their future endeavors.

The closing ceremony also saw the announcement of the overall champion. With 10,000 points, the Tetso College was declared the overall winner. The runners up was St. Joseph College with 5000 points. The crowd was energized with performances from winners of various categories.
